SleepLog in ChatGPT: support
Last updated 22 October 2026.
What it does
- Sleep diary: tell ChatGPT roughly when you went to bed, when you got up, how many times you woke and how you felt. SleepLog keeps it and shows your last two weeks on one timeline, with a steadier sleep window to try after a week.
- Dream diary: add a dream to any morning. SleepLog tags themes, people, places and feelings and shows which keep coming back.
- Compare my nights: after 10 nights, compare nights with and without things like late coffee, drinks, late screens, exercise or stress. These are what went with your nights, not causes.
- Sleep ritual: a wind-down routine with timers, paced breathing and sounds.
- Sleep sounds: 16 sounds you can mix, with a timer that fades out.
There's no sign-in: your diary is linked using a coded identifier, without a separate SleepLog sign-in. It works in any ChatGPT chat.
Getting started
In ChatGPT, say "start a sleep diary". Read the card and tap Start my diary. The next morning, tell ChatGPT something like "bed 11:30, woke once, up at 7, felt okay".
Change, export or delete
- Change a night: "change last night's bedtime to 23:15".
- Delete one night: "delete last night".
- Export everything: "export my sleep diary as CSV" (the link works for 15 minutes).
- Delete everything: "delete my SleepLog diary", then confirm. Every night, dream, ritual and the record that you agreed are removed straight away (see the privacy page for backups).
Something not right?
- My diary is empty in a new chat: make sure you're signed in to the same ChatGPT account.
- Sounds stop when my phone locks: try the "1 hour" download on the sound player.
- Anything else: email support@gymstreaklabs.com.
SleepLog is a diary, not medical advice. If you're worried about your sleep, talk to a doctor.
